From Iran and Bulgaria to the heart of Houston, and finally to the sun-drenched shores of the Rethymnon Riviera, that string led them exactly where they were meant to be. Their love was written long ago, and their closest family and friends made the journey to Crete to witness the latest chapter.
The couple’s symbolic ceremony took place in the early afternoon on the resort’s unique terrace. Against the spectacular scenery of the Cretan Sea, they proved that their invisible thread was stronger than any physical distance.
As the famous Cretan sunset began its “theatre” in the sky, the celebration moved to Tavernaki. Guests toasted the newlyweds while enjoying exquisite Mediterranean cuisine overlooking the waves. The evening was a vibrant blend of traditions, highlighted by the traditional Iranian knife dance and a romantic first dance that kicked off a high-energy party.
